Music by The Piano Brothers

Judy Lane Waggoner (Corley) was born on October 27, 1946, in Ono, Kentucky.

She was the youngest of 5 children born to Kermit and Debby Hughes.

She graduated from Vevay High School, and made her way out in to the world. She finally settled down in Shelbyville, and quickly made her way up the ranks at Ryobi Die Casting where she worked for 20 years.

Judy loved life, and spent every waking moment doing her best to enjoy it. She never met a stranger, and was one of those people you instantly adored. Her greatest gifts in life were her huge heart and her genuine love and concern for others.

She was a biological mother of four – but in reality, she was a mother to so many more. Judy will be remembered for her laugh, her silliness, and her steadfast devotion to those she held in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings (Joyce, June, Ruel, and Verna), her husband (James), a daughter (Jone), and her granddaughter (Mikayla).

She is survived by her children (Chris, Nikki, and James), her daughters-in-law (Kim and Suzanne), and her son-in-law (Aaron). She left 5 surviving grandchildren (Andrea, Tesla, Brittany, Nikolas, and Aiden), and a plethora of non-biological children who called her “Mom” for well over 45 years.

Rest easy, beautiful soul. Your presence will be missed, but your legacy lives on.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Alicia Gross officiating.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Judy's family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Judy's passing. I always enjoyed working with her. I worked with her at PMC and convinced her to come to Ryobi after I went there. She was a wonderful lady. My prayers are with her family.
