My condolences on the passing of your father Stanley.

I have great memories of spending many days at the horse races with him and with Helen and Dirk and sometimes Paula. Those occasions were fun for me and I hope were fun for Stanley too.

I lost my father in 2004 and my mother in 2011 and think of them every day. I will miss your father too but will remember him and the time we spent together at the races.

Some guys you just don't appreciate in life till you get older. Stan was one of those folks for me. When I was in HS He took me under his wing a little bit, gave me a job that I was woefully unqualified for (Dirk always had my back) and served as a father-figure for me. Though I hadn't seen Stan for many decades, I will miss him. Sincere condolences to all the family.
